BUG review
Coalport YHA is housed in a former china factory (once the oldest china works in Europe) and is located next to the China Museum in the Ironbridge World Heritage site. It is a very well presented hostel, which is maintained to a high standard, however it does cater to a lot of school groups.

Its historic location is superb and right at a bus stop too. I found the hostel spotless with a large, clean and well equipped kitchen, secure, with large rooms and, what's more, the staff are super. The showers do take a bite of concentration to learn how they work - a very minor inconveniece.

It's not for the night life one visits this area so do not be disappointed if you don't find any. The old pub across the bridge is not too bad for a quiet, friendly pint and a bite to eat.

I'm a history buff so the place was heaven for me. Parts of the hostel date to about 1750. The whole area drips with its historic past.

The hostels location is absolutely beautiful. The rooms were very clean and ensuite the same. We drove into town so we found it easy to get to places like the Severn Valley Railway or the quaint town ship. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and breakfast was brilliant. We visited with our 3 young children and wished we could stay longer.
