I don't give 5 stars to this hostel because it's a bit expensive. BUT it's sooo nice: i stayed in a double room (well, it was an appartment, with a little kitchen and everything!), extra-clean, good location, great breakfast, free sauna and pool... PERFECT!

The hostel is perfect. Nice helpfull staff. Clean, secure building close to the main railway station. Rooms better than my apartment back home :). Awesome free breakfast. Sauna and swimming pool in the morning! Really, a pleasure to stay. It's a little on the expensive side, but you know what you're paying for.

Had a single room, (really a twin room for single use), with private facilities. The room was in a new block, and was spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The cost per night included a good buffet breakfast. It was difficult to believe that this accommodation is for Students! All I can say is that the Students are very fortunate to have such good accommodation!

Hostel Acadamica is very clean and has excellent facilities. There was a mini-kitchen in my room and an ensuite bathroom. The hostel also has a pool and sauna but I wasn't brave enough to go in. It isn't the cheapest hostel but the price includes a good and varied buffet breakfast. It isn't in the center of town (it is near the coach station so there can be some noise) but it is walking distance and the Hostel is close to Helsinki's most popular beach. A nice base for exploring the area with very helpful staff.
