First off you have to get a hostelling international card to stay here, but you can just buy one at the desk, well at least we did. The staff was cool, especially the guy that looks like he was born on a beach, with some really tan skin, bushy hair, he was truly one of the greatest guys ever. he let us in outside of reception hours, book rooms, and leave our stuff until the reception opened back up. the place looks liek a school, with big spacious rooms, pretty clean bathrooms, and a nice cafeteria that serves a big breakfast. the only drawback is that its a fair distance from the beach, and if you want to take the bus you have to walk some huge hill, but it is really close to the train station, so you can walk there, although you still have to climb that hill. if you come to biarritz to surf, i dont' see any reasons why not to stay here.
