This hostel is a large house in the outskirts of Cap Ferrit, very close to the beach. It was very basic to say the least. Accommodation was outside (its only open in the summer so its not cold) in tents, 16 people to a military style tent. There was a shower and toilet block built onto the side of the house with military style cold showers to match the sleeping accommodation. There was a good crowd of people there but the manager (a young (naive?) woman) insisted on turning the lights out at 10pm. She also insisted on retaining both my passport and driving license (parking is on street outside and wasnt a problem) which was a bit harsh, but is was less than 10 euros for the night. I wouldn't stay here again, as its the only hostel in the area consider sleeping on the beach if you've got a sleeping bag and/or tent. To the north there is a decent campsite at Lacanau-Ocean where I stayed for the second night.
