Nice, friendly staff.
Lots of groups, but the hostel features 3 wings, so if there are a lot of people travelling on their own, they usually have a wing all to themselves.
Bus ride from train station costs 2 euros.
Nice location, beach + harbour 5' away, Oceanopolis 15' away (on foot).
Hostel very clean, large 4-bed dorms. Clean showers + toilets outside the rooms, with hot water.
Cons: breakfast no big deal, just bad quality bread + jam + coffee.
No keys to the rooms nor any lockers inside the rooms.
Guests' kitchen sometimes closed.
Not possible for individuals to book in advance. I phoned in May to book a couple of days in July and they told me to ring again at the beginning of July. I did so at the end of June, because I wanted to get hold of the last "super-saver" train tickets, and I didn't dare buy the tickets before I had made the hostel reservation, and lo and behold, they told me they were fully booked due to several groups staying! So I had to reshuffle all my holiday plans!
