this "hostel" takes on the appearance of half way house for want of a better term. when we arrived in the early hours (very hard to find,NO english in this town!) the tv area was packed with 'locals'. first impressions were that this was maybe a centre for asylum seekers. we had a hard time tryin to sort out details and they only accept credit card for payment. on a better note, the rooms are spotless. showers are seperate frm rooms and arent necessarily single sex,as i found out.. b/fast is substantial for 2.50. for 11.75 a backpacker couldnt ask for much more. overall a good place but out of the way and the question of its purpose in the town were left unanswered.

My buddy and I found this place in Blois randomly while walking around. It is a large histel focused around large groups of people especially young kids. Good facilities though, including laundry, cafeteria, and free internet. Very cheap, and we shared a 6 bed dorm by ourselves. Simple busride from the train station to the hostel. Great little town. I would definitely recommend staying here.
