This small hostel has two highlights- being located in a fantastic location just a few minutes’ walk from the nightlife hotspot of Bastille, and having no curfew. Otherwise, the dorms are less than spectacular, the bathrooms are a bit grimy, and most of the reception staff are cold and unfriendly. The common room is really just a dining area, and the only thing in the kitchen you can use is the microwave. The interior decoration is boring, and there is no television. But you’re still likely to meet other budget travellers in the lobby, so if you stay here, be sure to take advantage of all the area has to offer, and use this as a place to crash after your late night bar hopping on Rue de Lappe.
