the hostel itself is surrounded by college buildings and green space - it's very close to the center of the city - the food is good - the beds are quite short (I'm 1,85m tall and couldn't really stretch) but comfortable - the food is good - service people speak english - the academy of arts is nearby. it's just a bit hard to find, but the karlsruhe people are very friendly and will most probably help you out.

A bit difficult to find at first, but the location is really picturesque. The rooms are clean n tidy, breakfast good and plentiful, though there'll be lots of german kids and teenagers around.
