Excelent choice and the best cost-benefit rate I found on my trip into Bavaria. Filling breakfast served in your own spacious and renovated room and desired hour and with a great view of the alps through the hatch (I stayed at the upper room). Owner recieved my group with a large and welcoming smile, providing the best reception we had among smaller cities.

I can't believe I'm the first to review this place! What a find! This is a small hostel 15 mins walk from the main town of Fuessen but the distance isn't a problem as the friendly man that owns the place is more than happy to pick you up from the station with your bags and take you back when you leave.

The rooms are all newly renovated, some with balconies and are very spacious and confortable. The bathrooms are immaculate. Breakfast (included) was excellent - boiled eggs, hot rolls with all the jam and honey you could ask for, coffee, OJ - all served out the back overlooking the mountains behind.

You can also rent bikes here, which is a great way to get to the castles or the lakes.
