This was the first hostel in Europe I stayed at and after numerous more still one of my favourites. Its clean and has good kitchen facilities, and a great location but the big plus is just the atmosphere. Everyone is really nice and willing to help out with anything. THANKS GUYS catch you next time!

The hostel is in an excellent location, just inside the town wall, not far from the train station. The rooms are clean and the facilities are good - including free internet. The kitchen is pretty small, but adequate. Staff are really, really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Its only a short walk to the town centre and all the sights. Good value for money

My friend and I visited Nuremburg in late December 2003. If you plan to stay there, get there while it's light outside. It's located right beside the medieval wall and there are very few street lights. We did not feel safe at all walking in the alley at night. Once inside we were not at all happy about our accomodations. The doors did not lock, the room stank, the chairs were broken, and the pillow and blankets given to us smelled. There were no blinds or curtains on the windows and our beds faced an apartment building that kept the lights on ALL night! Also, to get into the main door to the hostel, we were given a number to open it. Being two females traveling alone we felt this was unsafe. Anyone could get the number...and with our room not having a lock on it...we worried about who could come in during the night while we were sleeping. The guy behind the desk was friendly enough, I guess, but Lette'm Sleep was by far the worst hostel we stayed in during our 2 week stay. I understand that you get what you pay for...but we deserved to feel safe and we didn't. Women traveling alone should beware....

I am very impressed with this personal and friendly hostel. The receptionist, Dirk, has been incredibly helpful with information on the city and the best places to visit. The hostel itself has a very personal atmosphere, with a wonderful common space, free and fast internet and a lovely kitchen. I recommed this hostel highly as a friendly atmosphere and cozy place to stay!

I am at the hostel now using the FREE internet! They also provide free coffee and tea 24hrs! It is a very friendly hostel with clean bathrooms and rooms, the rooms are also male or female or mixed, and very roomy and heated! It is 5mins from the train station, walk out the main doors and cross the main road (or go under the road??) and turn left onto the road parallel to the main one and follow that along the old wall till you hit the HOSTEL sign! EASY! Also has a kitchen and cheap beer and hot wine stuff! mmmm

Lette'm Sleep is a safe bet no matter what. The atmosphere is great, and the community feel in the Common Room downstairs adds an element to traveling that many hostels cannot provide. Also, the staff is very receptable. For example, they're getting another computer so more people can enjoy the free internet at a time. Rooms are big, bathrooms clean, and the brothels of Nuremberg are just down the street. And it's pretty cheap!

it is a great and friendly place to stay - I liked it very much. the cosy kitchen is THE hangout, it is like a home.the only bad point: there is no smoking free area.....showers and toilets are nice and clean, the rooms I found very spacious. no curtains though.Nuremberg itself is a fairytale-town to go and staying at this hostel is topping it.

We only stayed a night, but will certainly recommend this hostel as a funky place to stay. Nice rooms, good showers etc, free internet, classy kitchen etc.
