This was my most memorable hostel stay on my 6 week trip, as the building is a charming 16th century barnhouse-looking structure that I took pictures of to show my family at home. We were fortunate and had just two of us in a 6 person room, so it was spacious enough. However, had there been 6 people in there, it would have been a tight squeeze, as there are 3 bunk beds jammed in the room. Showers/bathrooms pretty standard and clean. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Lots of families staying there with their kids. All in all, a perfect place to stay to see this awesome medieval city. It's a good 30 min. fast paced walked from the train station, but it's in the old part of town that you want to be in anyways.

The hostel itself is adequate, clean, breakfast in the morning. The village itself is the reason to stay at this hostel, it's a really cool medieval city. Keep in mind the whole city has a curfew and things shut down pretty early at night. My suggestion would be to stay one evening. Arrive early in the morning, explore the city during the day, have dinner in town in the early evening and go out to the club just outside the walls of the village. When we were there there were very few other 20-something hostellers so if meeting people in a hostel is what you want to do, go elsewhere!
