amstel house is a great place to stay in berlin. what attracted me to the place was the price (only 10 euros per night). i firmly believe that u meet the coolest people in the cheapest hostels. amstel is centrally located, with public transport and shops located just around the corner. the hostel staff are friendly too, a special mention here about chris and richard, that crazy englishman. i stayed in the dorm which had bout 10 beds. the showers and toilettes are common but spotlessly clean so no worries there. i met some really great ppl in the common lounge with free internet and a flat screen tv. im definitely looking fwd to coming back to berlin and amstel...
