BUG Review
Lette'm Sleep is the perfect place for the stereotypical hippy backpacker. Facilities include the usual kitchen and TV lounge. A very cool location a bit north of Mitte in a very artsy, punk, hippy kind of area. It's located across from a park close to lots of cafés and pubs.

Price
Dorm bed €17-21
Twin room €49

Prices are in local currency and are inclusive of all taxes.

I stayed here in Nov/Dec 1999. Located about five minutes from the closest u-bahn (metro) station, this hostel can be found in a quiet backstreet. When I was there it was almost empty. It is cheap, though very basic. The communal lounge was a decent place to meet new people. Not bad, though nothing special.

doesnt really look like a hostel and is in a crummy neighborhood with drunks on the corner at 10am. the place itself is kind of dirty looking. it had a small common room with free internet but i had to get up at 8am to get onto it and by the time i was done there were two people in line. The area does have alot of good cheap little bars and restaurants. The biggest glaring fault with the place is that it shares a courtyard with a residential building whose residents have a penchant for breaking lots of glass bottles really early in the mornings (also known as fervent recycling) i would probably not stay again.

We stayed at this hostel in 2000 as we needed cheap accommodation during a trade fair in Berlin. It is a pretty small place with a very cosy atmosphere. The rooms are nice and clean and the sanitary facilities are ok, too. The hostel has a common room with basic cooking facilities. What I really loved about the place was its location. Right in the trendy area of Prenzlauer Berg, cheap bars and restaurants just some steps away. Don't let the appearance of the building scare you away: this place doesn't look like a hostel from the outside and if you don't know it, you just walk past.

The staff is really friendly and helpful.
