For the full Reeperbahn experience check into this former brothel where the management have really gone to town on the decor with lurid colours and themed rooms that include the princess room, pharaoh room, playboy room and dungeon room; there’s even an opulent bathroom with two spa baths. Amenities at Kastanien Hotel include a bar next to the reception area that is open till midnight on weekdays and open around the clock on weekends plus a nice lounge room with a TV. This place isn’t for everyone, but there’s no denying that it’s got plenty of character.
