Highly recommended.

The 4-bed private room is well worth the money.

I had a blast at this hostel! Met a lot of cool people because they have a veranda out front where people hang out and it's used a lot. They also book a lot of stuff for you if you want and the tours will pick you up at the hostel. Restaurant across the street is really cheap and good, plus you get 15% off if you're staying at the hostel!!!

It's not worth staying here. We booked ahead for July but then realized when we got to the port that there were tons of cheap accommodations to be had on the spot. Everyone greets the ferries with signs, and if you talk fast, you can negotiate a private room on the beach with air conditioning, hot water, and a swimming pool for about the same price as a dorm bed at this dirty, bargain-basement hostel. It's not even on the water - it's a bit of a walk up and away. Don't bother with Hostel Anna. There's plenty of of places to stay at Perissa Beach that are just as cheap and far better.

This hostel gives out a broucher that states the following, of which ABSOLUELY none is true

Hot water - you are the 1 in 100 people who actually get a hot shower, my experience and that of at least 10 others i have talked to say they have only had cold water.

Comfortable beds - they are rock hard as well as the pillows

swimming pool - none in sight

resturant - one that cloesed years ago

kitchen - a small hot plate that is outside, oh yeah and an old broken sink with hot water.

laundry facilites - the old broken sink.

Clean rooms - we had to beg to have our room cleaned, you could not even walk onthe floor it was so sticky with food and god forbid you had to use the toliet, it stunk so bad

You have to BUY toliet paper here, they do not provided it and you have to put the paper in a bin instead of the toliet, which only adds to the smell.

So far, the staff has not been able to answer any of our questions about things to do and places to stay on other islands.

I could go on, but i think you have the picture.

This was a great place to meet other travellers - everyone is very friendly and goes out most nights to the local beach bars (no curfew)! Good but basic facilities and also they book tours for you if you want. Transport to and from port, and very reasonable prices and variety of accommodation - we paid 6 euro a night for a 10 bed dorm. 250 m from the beach and good bus service to travel around the island. Also lots of supermarkets and nice local restaurants. We'd recommend this to most travellers.

I stayed here 3-nights while visiting Santorini. Their minibus picks you up from the port and takes you there. It's a big hostel with a very friendly staff. There is the beach, clubs/bars, supermarket, and restaurants all within walking distance. You also get a discount at the great restaurant directly across the street. There are also a few places to rent scooters near by for cheap. The only thing I kind of didn't like was the noise from the traffic, when I tried to go to sleep. If it bothers you, just make ear plugs out of tissue paper. Have a great time.
