This place has to be seen to be believed. We booked in there for two nights, planning to stop in Corfu on our way to Athens, but we ended up staying for a week and a half. We got a free shot when we arrived, which was just a small taste of things to come. The staff were very friendly and down-to-earth - they go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Admittedly this was during the winter time, so I don't know if it's like this all year round. We took a quad out to explore the island - what an amazing place. We had the most spectacular view from our balcony, and from here I saw some of the most amazing sunsets of my entire trip. A true paradise.

How wonderful it was, it is hard to describe. You have to visit to believe it. Almost the entire staff was composed of travellers who went and decided to stay for a while. I almost got sucked in staying myself. The Pink Palace is a lot of fun, and has it all: a spectacular beach about two minutes away, the best sunsets in Corfu, a fully-stocked bar, with lots of happy hour prices and home cooked meals at night. An incredible feast of sun-worshipping, stunning sunsets, drinking into oblivion, and meeting new people from all over the world. The Drinks are average price. Rooms are very clean and specious, with 24 hour hot waster and an amazing balcony view of the sunset and the beach. The beach is gorgeous, tranquil, sandy and with allot of secluded bays to explore. The pick you up for free when you arrive and the owners are extremely helpfull with anyhting you ask for.The Pink palace is definetely the place to visit. Make sure you go out kayaking, it is such a wonderful expirience.Scuba diving there was fantastic also. Tons of fun. Just watch out of the ochtapus that swimm around you while diving.

the reviews on the PP all vary significantly. as far as the money goes the managment obviously squeeze you and have no love for their guests, but its all small change in the big scheme of things. the most important issue is the experience. this is basically a spring break high school type of experience for very untrendy, suburban, Mc"Travel" types. i've been to many resort like parties like this, its a lot like the first week at college (if you're north american you'll understand that), I club hard and had an easy time working the "novice-i live with my parents" crowd that i would normally not be caught dead with, guys were insecure but eager to show you they were friendly, girls were looking for an excuse to do something they could n't do back home, as a guy there were plenty of opportunities with women but there was (even for a red blooded guy like me) something pathetic and sleazy about it all. i could never be sure if a girl actually knew what she was doing or just couldn't handle her booze, i was almost embarrased to be there (and i do party a lot), it was like all these people were reverting back to a club mentality they left behind in a suburb somewhere, we could have been in any small town in nowhereville, if this is the highlight of your trip you will always be happy in life because your expectations are obviously very low. the beach is nice but i've seen much better. the food says it all, bad cafeteria food, served in an army barracks style.this is the pauly shore/adam sandler of hostels!put your brain and good taste in neutral and laugh/cringe....and don't say i didn't warn you!

It's easy to see how crazy this place would be during the high season, but we were there in September and we were really disappointed. We got slugged 25 euros a night each for a clean double room which although it included breakfast and dinner seemed really expensive at that time of year.Found most of the staff to be really rude, especially the bloke who insulted some other guys on the bus when we were leaving. Beware of the bus ride from the Palace to Athens, they pack you in like sardines and there is little chance of sleep throughout the night.Absolutely the worse place we stayed in for the price. No atmosphere at that time of year. Pink Palace should take a few tips from Far Out Club on Ios, they know how to have a good time for a third of the price at that time of year. And Agios Gordios beach is average in comparison to Mylopotas.

We did have a great time at the Pink Palace. Though I was a bit put off by the whole idea of crowds of English-speaking party-ers and forced Ouzo shots, it turned out to be a great break from the rush of cities and hostels. The A-class rooms are well worth it and fantastic, the beach is great and I thought the food was very decent. Hired quads for only 15 which was really fun.

This place was the highlight of my entire 5month trip to Europe!I got there in September (after peak season)..I was a little intimidated at being made to skull pink ouzo at 5am when i first arrived but by the end of the week i never wanted to leave!!I had the best fun of my life and met great people (some of whom i am still in contact with!) I still dream of my days at the Pink Palace. It's like a hedonistic school camp for grown ups where everything goes..I can't wait to go back !!

I've traveled all over Europe, Latin America, and Asia and this place is without a doubt the best hostel, or budget hotel for that matter, I've ever been to. I arrived in Athens and the pink bus picked me up and took me right to Corfu at a price cheaper than the KTEL public bus. When I got there the accomidations actually matched all the website pics and the view was awesome. The beach is walking distance and the front desk helped me rent a scooter so I could see a little of the island. The place completely got a re-vamp at night bc the onsite club was ridiculously fun. I met people from all over and the experience was incredibly memorable to say the least...if you come to Greece and don't come here you're definately missing out on loads of fun.

That's the PP's motto, and that's certainly what you'll get from it. It's definately a vacation from your vacation. For a meager 25 Euros a night, you get a room with a view, AC, clean, breakfast on the beach, and a dinner that will make you full. From all the hostels out there, this is definately the daddy of them all, hell it's been around for some 20 years, so they have a good niche. From the minute you walk off the ferry at the port, there is a Huge Pink Bus waiting for you. Once you get on that bus, they take it from there. I lot of people (not the majority) say they didn't like it, which I can understand if you're not into the whole party scene; but the PP tries to throw some culture into the whole scene with Greek Dancers at the Pallodium and George himself picking up a table with his......(well, you have to go to see). Another thing that I liked about it, is that when you go for dinner, whether you are alone or with others, they will seat you at a table with others, so it's easy to break the ice with those new faces.I stayed there all together for about a week. It's definately hard to move on and part yourself from all of that. As for the island of Corfu.....one of the best islands I visited in Greece. It's all green, filled with olive trees. Even though it's very tempting to JUST stay at the PP the whole time you're there, I would recommend renting a scooter or car and touring the island, passing by small Greek villages, and secluded beaches. If you're not into the whole party scene at the Pallodium at night, just hang out by the beach, or walk downhill into the little town and check out a bar or club there. There's something for everyone. Here is a picture:http://community.webshots.com/photo/33360579/65936664wIUeVQP.S. IF ANYONE HAS ANY PICTURES OF THE PINK PALACE OR CORFU IN GENERAL, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM. THANKS. :D

Absolutely wonderful place. The Pink Palace is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. It has a way on keeping you around, just because it is so comfortable and the staff are so helpfull and friendly , they make you feel at home. They cover all travellers needs. It's my favorite place in Europe. Magda met us at the port and drove us for free to the hotel. They also drive you back when you leave. The Rooms are great and clean and the views to the beach and ocean are fantastic.I found it to be a great place to relax and have fun and will definately be returning in the near future.

Agios Gordios is one of the most beautiful places on Corfu. The scenery is unique and breathtaking, the crystal blue waters and sandy beach, the greek taverns, and the Greek people are friendly and wonderful. In the Pink Palace from the moment you step in, you are made to feel so welcome and as if being part of the family. The best service we have ever had staying in a budget hotel/hostel .At the Pink Palace we have met wonderful people from all over the world, and enjoed some of my fondest travelling expiriences and parties. Go there if you get the chance, and enjoy Agios Gordios beach and the surrownding villages and what the pink palace has to offer. The prices in the hostel are very cheap and they offer allot of inexpensive day activities. Great bar , open 24 hours with lots of happy hours, but prices are very cheap anyway. Cheapest in Europe so far.Make sure you go on their day tours. You will expirience lifelong memories. We just had our spring break there. It was FANTASTIC.
