This place rocks! It's like a shared house but even more. You get knowing the people in a second, convenient, offers FREE Internet, DVDs, and I had the best hot shower in my travel. Worth going there!

This is the smallest hostel I've been to, it's actually an appartment with room for about 15 people if my mind serves me correctly. I booked for saturday and monday since they were full on sunday, and I tried to stay there on sunday, but they had no free beds at all. Check out time is whenever you want to (awesome thing, no waking up at ungodly hours), so I stayed all day as I was too lazy to go wandering with my luggage looking for another place, and Chila (if I spelled it correctly), a girl that cleans the place was so concerned about me not having a place to stay that she let me stay in the adapted bed from a very tiny couch there, and charged me less for that. She is really sweet, she was asking for forgiveness for such a crummy bed, but it was better than sleeping in the train station. This place is so small that it is cozy, and all the guests would sit down and chat or watch movies from the not so big selection they have there. Toilets, showers and kitchen were impecable, and all in all, I had a great time, I ended up staying 2 more nights. Free internet, and Chubba (I think that is the name of the manager) was very nice, although a bit horny sometimes. That would be my only complaint, but he's not a dangerous fellow. Nice enough to cook for us one night, the staff is amazing. They don't offer breakfast, but the place is so cheap, and Budapest all in all is so inexpensive this wasn't an issue at all.

Basically all I have to say is that I booked a room 3 months in advance and called twice the week before I was arriving in Budapest to confirm our reservation and to let them know our exact time of arrival. I was told repeatedly that we were booked. But when we showed up on a Friday night at 1:00am we were told that they gave away our room. They said they had booked us into another hostel, handed us a map and sent two girls wandering the streets of budapest at 1:30am to what ended up being a dodgy hostel which we had no choice but to stay at. Don't believe anything Aboriginal Hostel says--as you'll be sleeping on the streets or in a crap bed for the night!
