I stayed only one night in this hostel, but this one night was more than enough. I met the hostel staff at the railway station and they handed me a leaflet about the hostel:"Low prices, high standards... We offer: chill garden, restaurant, bar... Free internet, breakfast included."Beside the text was a photo of a nice and clean two bedded room.But the hostel was quite different than on the leaflet. My room var disgusting. The sheets were "clean" but had dirt spots, months old it seemed. The walls had scratches and holes in it. The reading light beside the bed didn't work. I saw several insects in the sealing. The lavatory was very dirty, looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. In short the room didn't look anything like on the photo.I also found out the same day that the door to the garden was locked, and that there was no bar... and no internet. And the breakfast didn't taste very well.The night was horrible. I could hear the techno-disco music from across the street well and it was very disturbing. The traffic was also very loud. Strange to hear loud traffic and music at 4 AM on a Wednesday. I don't think I slept more than 2 hours that night.I do not recommend this hostel. But I have to admit it became quite funny after a day or two. So do not stay at this hostel unless you have the right sense of humour for it.

We stayed in this hostel and the room wasn't clean.It seems as they haven't cleaned it for a month.The toilets had also the similar problem.The washing machine was ridiculous.Living at this hostel, we didn´t enjoyed enought our days in budapest.I can show you some photos....http://www.ifrance.com/bustia/centralbudapest/central-budapest.htm

We stayed at this hostel for one week, and really enjoyed it! The staff there are great and always willing to help with any arrangements. This hostel is normally a university dormitory, so unfortunately it's only open in july and august, which is it's only drawback. The rooms were nice and clean, as well as providing a great view over either the city park. It also had a great nightclub and everyone was invited for a free beer. I would definitely stay here again!
