BUG Review
This excellent purpose-built hostel is built around a courtyard and designed so the sleeping areas are separated from the noisy common areas. Facilities include a small kitchen and dining area, a restaurant and a cosy common room with a TV, table football and a fireplace. There are also two friendly dogs named Bob and Marley.

Jamaica Inn is a great way to ease into your Ireland travelling, and a great place to sleep off your jetlag. It is only a 15 minute ride from Shannon Airport. The village is teensy tiny, but plenty of pubs. The facilities were excellent. Everything very clean, bathrooms were the best we encountered anywhere in the country. Mike is very helpful and a very nice man. There isn't more than hour's worth of tourism though, so I wouldn't recommend staying for more than a day unless it's some rest and relaxation you crave. The patio in the middle of the hostel allows for some fun interaction with other hostellers. Fantastic!

The only problem with this hostel is it's in the middle of nowhere and the busses pass twice a day, but if you have a car that's fine. It's very close to Shannon airport and handy from that point of view. The rooms are lovely with big squishy wooden beds, and nice decor. There were a lot of hens running round in the garden which was cute, and lots of room for parking. Showers etc were perfect, more like a b&b really.
