I stayed here for 2 nights and it was ok. The doors didn't have locks, it was a 10 min walk outside the city centre. They didn't seem to have much security. The door is open all day and anyone could walk in. They lock it at night and you need a code to get in. The place could use some maintenance work. Not sure I would return or not.

This was our first introdution to Hostels in Ireland so we did not know what to expect. Our Double room was fairly clean but the door had no lock on it! The friendly guy working there lives in the Attic! We didn't use the kitchen but it looked fine. We did play table tennis in the games room! It took about 5 minutes to walk into town. Kinsale it's self was great.
