BUG Review
This small 18-bed hostel is in a stone farmhouse that has two very basic kitchens, a small common room with a fireplace and a games room with table tennis. Accommodation is in simple dormitories with old plastic coated mattresses. It is just outside the village of Bruckless near Dunkineely.

I've made Ben's a base for two holidays so far and will be using it again. The facilities are superb (Ben is an ex chippie and supervised how he wanted the hostel done out) and Ben and Lyndall very friendly. You need transport if you are going to stay any length of time though when I wasn't using the bike the hitching was okay. Very good camping barn. Oysters available nearby, music: in Dunkineely (Thurs), hotel (Sat), Killeybegs. Ask the way down to the inlet - a favourite spot - you can walk round to the shop at the petrol station (Spar) this way rather than walk the main road, which can be busy.
