The Blue Moon feels like home. The owner, Domenic, and his family live in the adjacent part of the building. The rooms are clean and spacious. Shower facilities are a little limited in the hostel itself, but there are additional showers available for folks camping. The coolest thing is that there is a sink in each dorm room, so you don't have to wait for someone to get out of the shower to brush your teeth.

The common area is cozy and the kitchens (one for hostel and one for campers) are well stocked.

Take time to talk to the locals. Be sure to go across the street and enjoy a pint and live music on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Take time to enjoy the craic.
