I believe Malin Head hostel is without doubt the best hostel in Ireland and a must to visit. It's clean and very well appointed. I've stayed in the dorm and private rooms and found them most comfortable and cosy. There's an open fire in the lounge, which is a great spot to relax and chat to other hostellers or just snuggle down with a good book. The hostel is nestled in lovely grounds with an organic garden. The garden produces some lovely vegetables, which are available to purchase. The garden is a delightful spot to relax after a long day of hiking and taking in the local sights. The hostel is within walking distance of the ocean and all three pubs. I found the owner Mary a wealth of local and irish knowledge and very friendly. All in all a great place to unwind and relax. Certainly worth a visit

This place was great - clean, cute, nice owners, lots and lots of historical stuff to look at. Nice lounge, AMAZING view. My only compaint is that there aren't any private rooms - other than that, it's perfect!
