Went 4 a cheap wkend in Dublin can't fault the price or location - only a short walk. However, lack of information is given when phoning and when arrived we spent 1st night in a room with no lock [I felt very unsafe as had had previous experience with an unlocked room that ended tragically] and the second two nights in a room that smelt strongly of urine. Expected facilities to be basic but most showers were broken. Would advise girls especially to pay a little extra for something safer and cleaner.

The hostel may the far from the nicest in Dublin, or in the best location but it is so so so cheap. £15pppn for a double room cannot be beaten. The place looks miles from the city centre on any map but it's only about 5 min from the top of O'Connell street (one of the main shopping streets). Take note though - there are very few shops anywhere near the hostel.

I went with 3 other girls and if all you want is somewhere cheap and basic and clean to stay its great. It is about a 10 min walk from City Centre and you are free to come and go as you please, great for a bunch of young people up for a laugh. We met some really nice people staying there aswell!! The owners are very laid back so you can do what you like. We will be going back again next time we go to Dublin.
