This hostel is housed in a former recording studio that once catered to the likes of U2 and Van Morrison and it tries to keep the building's heritage alive with Warhol-style murals depicting Irish musicians. It is a clean and well-maintained hostel with a bright TV lounge plus a kitchen and dining room with Internet access and table football.

This was a cheap wonderful place to stay in Dublin. Easy access from the airport, close to everyhing, helpful staff, clean rooms, hot showers, good breakfast, you could not ask for more at a cheaper price!

The staff at Litton Lane is excellent! Very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is a perk, and the rooms are clean. Nothing smells badly, and the bathrooms are clean. The showers should be considered more of a drip, but that's the biggest complaint. We had a rather noisy experience in our room, but that was because of some raucousy and obnoxious Brits spending Paddy's weekend in Dublin. The hostel staff was on top of the situation though and urged us to let them know if the guys got out of control. They discounted someone else's money while we were there because of the same boys. Litton Lane is in the perfect location- Temple Bar is very loud and happening, but maybe too happening. Just cross the Ha'penny Bridge or O'Connell St. Bridge and you will be in the Temple Bar District. Also, there's a pub right next door that is pretty fun if you can handle the variety of age groups there.

rather large, clean, friendly. breakfast included. showers and bathrooms ok, but not great. except for a few paintings there is nothing left of the famous recording studio. rooms are spacious and if you have the windows open you'll have live music from the pub next door ;-)
