the staff is really helpful and the street is quiet. That's the only thing I would remember positively about this hostel.

the room was big and tidy but cold. I believe it doesn't matter in summer but in May... the kitchen if you can call it a kitchen was DISGUSTING. I now understand why nobody used it.

we had a non ensuite bedroom (all the other were booked) so we had to use common showers. only one for all the floor (the other one was out of order). we had to go to another floor.

If we can avoid it we'll never come back to this hostel.

We were there on a Sunday night after spending a horrible night at another Dublin hostel (Cobblestones), and it was quite a relief to arrive here. We were there in April, and not many people were there that night. It's in a cool Georgian (18th century) convent.

This place is awful. Do not stay here. I only stayed here because all other hostels were booked out. One of my friends was very ill when we stayed there and threw up in her bed (she was genuinely ill, it wasn't too much of the black stuff!!). The receptionist told her off and didnt clean the mattress just flipped it over - yuk!!!!

The showers were disgusting as was the kitchen and the reception staff were rude and unhelpful. To make matters worse we were in a huge dorm room (16 people)which absolutely stank - and we paid a fortune for the pleasure.

Do not stay at this hostel. You have been warned.

Located quite a bit from the main entertainment area of Dublin. Is not in a particularly nice area. The rooms were spartan with high ceilings, everything painted white. The interior is ancient and the showering room is awful. The breakfast consisted of toast. Somehow they managed to make it taste awful. The worst thing is that this place cost IEP20 per person in a private room which is a complete rip-off. Generally, lacked atmosphere and resembled a barely cleaned-up crack-house.
