Hostel is clean and the staff very friendly. As usual there are stairs and no elevator. The security into the hostel is good as you have to ring a bell before being let in. It is right next to the railway line and when we stayed there were road works which started at about 9.30 p.m. One night our room was on the first floor over the front door -we found it noisy with the door slamming late at night - but you are in a hostel. The bathrooms are modern and very clean. We had a private room each time we stayed - some had a mirror and a basin (which is very handy) but not all. It is close to the bus and train terminus and 5 minutes walk to Temple Bar. The bedding is clean. There is a modern kitchen and breakfast is provided (cereal, bread, jam and coffee) The hostel has only been open for a little while so everything is reasonably new. A few doors up there is a internet and international phone place where the internet is cheap and international calls really cheap (approx 19 cents per minute to Aust).
