BUG Review
This brilliant hostel is perhaps the nicest building in Cloghane. The stone hostel is very well equipped with en suite facilities in all rooms, a cosy TV lounge with an open fire, a small but fully equipped kitchen and a waterfront dining area with lovely views.

Hostel was clean, beautiful position, lovely dining area and sitting area.Disappointed as my partner and i booked a double room for 2 nights and as per web site were expecting en-suite.We had bunk beds with a toilet and basic shower outside our room and available for all to use and indeed it was used. The owner denied that web page claimed all rooms en-suite.Also did not see any sign of drying room which would have helped as we got soaked climbing Mt Brandon.Area around is beautiful and 2 local pubs very nice.

breakfast is not included but the kitchen is well equiped with compartments of food storage for each room and the dining room is nice. the tv room is quite small but confortable.

all the rooms are ensuite with a real bathroom and hot water. We spent a night in a quiet and tidy twin room with real beds. It only cost us 18 euros.

But if you should spend a night there for juste one reason, it should be for the scenery. Waking up with the sunrise above brandon bay, or having a cup of tea under the veranda at night are the reasons why we will come back.

the only thing is that you definitly need a car to go there.
