I stayed in the Ferry House Hostel in the centre of Tarbert, Co. Kerry for one night in June 2006. There were not many guests in the hostel at this time, so the friendly staff gave me a dormitory on my own.

Nice furniture, the wooden floor and some colourful details make the hostel a really homely place. Everything was clean!

If the Irish wheather isn´t too bad, you can use the close beside the house to dry your laundry or just to sit in the sun.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.

Close to the ferry, we found it clean and quiet. They were preparing for the season (we were there in April 2003), and had a lot of new equipment in the kitchen.
