This is actually a hotel, with one or two rooms arranged to hostel rooms. We were in the room with 5 beds and it's own bathroom. In the room was a bit too "crowdy" but beds were made every day and towels were changed regulary. There were also air condition and tv in the room. Nights were pretty noisy but that's usual if you get to know how the traffic in Neaples functions.Breakfast is included in the price (which is rare in Italy) and it was a real breakfast! One can have different croisants, caffee or any other warm drink, juice, "panini" with maramlade... And that only for 20€ per night! And both women that worked there were really nice and friendly. There is one computer in front of reception with free internet and different maps of the city can be bought.
Location is very good, 15 min walking distance from the harbour, and in case you don't wanna walk, buses and metro are 2 min away. There is no visible sign that on this adress is a hostel, but don't give up - when you find Via Duomo 61 just find on the door bell name of the hostel and ring. When you come into the atrium, just straight ahead on the first floor (in the building is an elevator).I was so afraid to go to Neaples after all I've heard, but in this hostel I felt really safe and if I ever go there again, Hostel des Artistes will be my choice!
