The women dormitory has 18 bunkbeds in one big dormitory - so with 36 women it is never really quiet in there. The bunkbeds are lower than the normal ones, so no sitting on the lower bunkbed is possible. There are only 3 showers and 3 toilets for the 36 people. The garden though is nice, the food quite ok (but too expensive, 11 Euro (9 Euro for the meal and 2 Euros for either 1/4 of wine or a small bottle of water) - in town you could have a tourist menue for 10 to 13 Euros. The breakfast coffee is from a real espresso machine and the best I had in an Italian hostel. The staff is very helpful. Don't forget to ask about reductions for the ferries on Lake Como and the funicolare (and some swimming pool).you have to pay 2,50 Euros if you leave your baggage. In all other Italian hostels (except Rome, 1 Euro) you do not have to pay for this service.

Nýce place, helpful staff, even better settýng. Close to supermarket too. Everythýng the prevýous owner saýd ýs true... They rent býkes too and ofer some great suggestýons for day trýps. Most people stayýng here are jsut takýng a break from the hardcore travellýng lýfe. It was 13,50 when I was there. Also annoyýng was the lack of kýtchen. Dýnner was expensýve and not great for what ýt ýs though. (sorry, typ?ng th?s on a Turk?sh keyboard. Replace all the w?erd y th?ngs w?th i)

This Youth hostel is 20 minutes far from the train station. It's easy to find and people in the city know the place, so if u're lost ...The bathroom is ok, but I didn't try dinner. The breakfast is not bad (bread+butter+marmelade and coffee or chocolate). The main problem here is the curfew : 11.30 !!It's the right time if you walk around all day long (like I did), but if you met some people and want to go to the pub, ehhhhSo, I do recommend this Youth Hostel, but remember the curfew!Ciao
