Ok, do not go expecting it to be a 'normal' hostel, cos it isnt. But what you do get is a taste of Italian Suberbia! Its such a fun/strange place to visit, its a short walk from the bus stop, but after the bus you get the metro,so no its not convenient for coming home late at night from Rome, dont do it!but at the hostel there's a dart board,(woo i hear u cry)but its cool, have a few drinks, play darts maybe sit on the roof and hang out with other 'hostellers'there's the 'swimming pool' worth seeing because its the biggest paddling pool ive ever seen! The people are indeed a bit strange but not dangerous in any way,the 'rooms' upstairs are hillarious, you can hear what the people in the next 'room' are saying, all the noises people make, and you get a plastic matress!all this is spoiling the weirdest visit of my europe backipacking trip for people who havent been, its the most memorable accomodation ive ever been in,you have to see it to believe it-and boy is it cheap!excellent, but i wud never ruin the magic by going there twice!

I also found it a very poor place to stay. It was too cold and the management would not do anything about it. They had fireplace(s) on the first floor (making the place smell smokey) but that heat did not get to the sleeping area on the second floor. There were a few radiators on the second floor that turned on occassionally but insufficiently. It was unhealthily cold in the sleeping area. By the way, there is a tight spiral metal staircase that leads to the sleeping area. If you have a heavy, big backpack or suitcase (or a disability), it is not easy to navigate those narrow spiral stairs. Did not look like they cleaned the place very often either and the bathroom had a moldy smell in certain areas. I agree with the other reviewer that it was not very private with cubicles that had partial walls. Finally--A WARNING: do not reserve/pay for more than one night without being sure that you want to remain there. They will not refund your money (it says so on their website). However, I did not think that it would be a problem. I thought that I could tolerate staying there. One night was more than enough.

Unless you are desparate for a cheap stay, I would advise that you NOT stay here. It is very cold and drafty in the sleeping quarters, which are not separate rooms but one big room partioned into small cubicles. The staff were not very nice, in general and do not want to listen to any complaints, though some became friendly as you got to know them. The bathrooms are smelly and unhygienic (womens br). Finally, if you are a couple, have some decency and get a private room instead of having a cheap date in an open air sleeping area.

You need to be out by 10am through 7pm and in by 1am, but who cares! You don't need to be in your hostel all day when you can be out exploring Italy, and it's a good idea to be in before 1am, so that you can get a good nights sleep. Even though this hostel is not the most warming place it is a cheap place to sleep and sleep only in!

Very dissapointing. I felt that it was dangerous in staying there, people there are somehow "strange" and extremely unfriendly. It is far from Rome. No bus/ metro station...I can not remember not even a good memory from this hostel- I am not sure if it is a hostel
