This is a lovely hostel. The food was amazing and plentiful, and whether i was just lucky or not i don't know but the group of people at the dinner table (about 20 people) made it even more enjoyable. The hostel itself probably needed modernising here and there but it was comfortable, clean, the staff were friendly and it is very close to a lovely beach. The only problem i found was the public transport Castelsardo is a 4km walk if you miss the bus and it may be a bit too remote if you want to explore. Bike hire and cars come highly recommended!Other than that realy nice to get away from it all.

I was rather dissapointed to arrive in Sardinia during a thunderstorm, I had been told it only rains about twice a year! Anyway after quite a long journey from the airport by bus I finally found the hostel in a lovely position up a steep hill. I sat and waited until my room was ready, a private room for 13'50 euros a night. I even had my own sun terrace. The eating arrangements were good, and the food was plentiful, we sat at one long table on a veranda and the food was served by the hostel staff. The beach was five minutes away and one English family I met had just had a perfect seaside holiday with their family of three boys. Public transport was good once you worked out the puzzle of where to buy a ticket. I would recommend this friendly hostel to anyone.
