Filthy bathrooms, run down (door to shower was falling apart), far out of town (sign indicating that you are leaving Siena very nearby) with very limited communications (bus drivers were even on strike one night when I was there). I had read reviews and wasn't expecting a very good place, but not this awfully bad either. It's a shame, because I think Siena deserves more than just a day trip. As a university town, it has a great night life. Someone must start up another hostel in this town!

El hostal esta un poco lejos del centro de Siena, lo cual puede resultar un inconveniente pues el último camion que tce lleva para alla es a las 9 pm!!!!! Lo bueno es que esta en una zona muy tranquila y conveniente si de ahi quieres ir a Florencia (el camion pasa enfrente). Las recamaras son limpias, con dos camas, lavamanos y un pequeño armario. Los baños estan mas o menos limpios. Antonio es el nombre de uno de los administradores, es el más joven y también es el más amable. El precio es muy accesible pero no tiene desayuno incluido, en esa misma calle hay un McDonalds y un pequeño restaurante con buenos precios. Si vas a ir en la temporada del Palio, asegurate de reservar al menos con un mes de anticipación pues se llena!

The hostel is alright for a night's stay in beautiful Siena, but nothing special. I slept in a double-room that had also contained a sink and big lockers (without locks). The price is 13,75 euros pppn, which also includes a decent breakfast.The only real down-side about the hostel is that it is very far away from the city center and can practically only be reached by bus (or taxi after like 10 in the evening). So either get a taxi or be there relatively early (the hostel was open to like 2 am though and it's a shame to miss Siena at night).In total an average youth hostel whose only real disadvantage is the location far out from town.

this was a weird hostel. expect a cheap bed, nothing more.you get there on the bus. three or four bus lines stop nearby. one right outside, three a block away.the hostel has only double rooms; baths and showers down the hall. the lobby has some plastic tables with attached chairs and flouresent lights. it's like being at mc donalds. the room was ok; just two beds and a sink.this is the plce to stay if you want a cheap bed in siena. don't expect some fancy hostel, it's ok, nothing more
