The welcome in the hostel was ordinary, yet when I asked for advice on train connections, day trips and taxi rates, the staff was extremely helpful and did everything to fulfill my needs and those of the other guests. In the evening there was a great atmosphere at the terrace, with both the international people and the staff merging, and sharing their experiences! It was very cosey, personal, and relaxed. The location is good, in walking distance from the centre. Everything is clean and cooking facilities are present. I would recommend to visit this hostel if you are looking for a nice atmosphere with a very helpful staff.

I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. The staff were unhelpful, the price was high and the location was ordinary.

Stayed here in late May 05. It's in a slightly unconventional setting, but is big, clean and well furnished, and located in its own gardens! Its easily reached from the station or the town centre and is a 10 minute walk from a small supermarket and several cafes/restaurants in the centre of Uzupio ( the bohemian area just east of the old town!)The rooms (we had a double for just 110 Lu) are spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped. A general 'chill-out' area would be useful - as it is the place can feel a bit more like a hotel with only chance meetings with other guests, although that can depend on how many people are staying/are in your party! In fact, given better weather, I suspect there would have been more scope for sitting out on long boozy, balmy evenings!

I stayed with my friend here in an improved double which was like a mini flat! Firstly there was a room with a double bed, a table, chairs, plenty of storage space and a television. This room was joint to a smaller subsection which included another bed which we never asked for (or had to pay for!). There were two other rooms - one for the shower (large room though shower cubicle is admittedly a bit small) which was reasonably powerful and warm and one for the toilet (no compliants except that the drainage system isn't the best). The hostel is friendly (very helpful) and safe (you can put items in the safe if you are worried) and in a great location (about 10 minutes walk from the centre of the old town) considering the sheer size of Vilnius. Free internet and open kitchen (free drinking water) is a bonus and breakfast is large though nothing spectacular. Definitely worth the money!

located in uzupio district (known for artists/bohemians), east of old town. Rooms in different cat., clean rooms, hot water in shower, good breakfast, staff helpful and speak some english. I was single, when no single room was available I booked a double room and paid only 20ltl (6euro) more.
