I stayed in this hostel for a week in summer 2003 and I only have good memories of it. We had a special arrangement including half-board, the rent of bicycles and several group activities which was fun. The hostel is located near the harbour in Terschelling West, so it's easy to reach. When we were there there were lots of families staying, so it was more a family hostel than a youth hostel but we met some young people as well. The hostel has a big veranda overlooking the wadden sea where you can have breakfast if the weather is nice or sit there in the evening. There is also a bar where they sell wild cherries beer, which is very nice. There is something going on every night. Staying in the hostel is also a good way to avoid the heavy drinking scenes on the teenager-campsites.
