BUG Review
In an old radio store, this hostel is beautiful from the outside, a typical narrow Dutch house covered in ivy. The inside is quite a surprise. As the place also acts as an artist’s residence for a few months every winter and regularly holds exhibitions, the interior walls are covered in eccentric murals, paintings and sketches. The place is absolutely tiny, with a rickety old staircase winding narrowly up to dusty rooms cluttered with old televisions, stuffed animals, and various other “decorations”… Bathrooms are so old and ugly it’s almost funny. It is quirky and artistic, and though there is minimal security, no breakfast or kitchen, and no social area, the place is cute and can still make you smile. If you can appreciate that and just call it a place to crash, it will be fine. Staff are extremely nice, especially the cats you may find on your windowsill in the morning.
