BUG review
A hotel/hostel with an elegant façade, around the corner from Hotel Annemarie. It is kept very clean, and the bathrooms are polished and new, but it is in a quiet neighborhood and keeps a low profile. Security is OK, but there are no lockers. They have a bar, which picks up a small crowd at night. They offer a tasty and free buffet breakfast and free internet. Staff are a bit reserved, but knowledgeable and willing to help you with tourist information. Dorm rooms are open and airy, some with small balconies overlooking a park. It is a bit bland since there is not a big backpacker atmosphere here.

Normal in every way but Ive lived in A'dam for 23 years and I promise you that getting something worth its value, is special on itself. I stayed in a 2-person room so dont know about the dorms. Breakfast more than ok, especially for a hostel. No smoking in rooms, but smoked plenty in front of the building and theres a vending machine for the munchies afterwards. Location good, especially considering I know the hostels downtown are mostly a little shitty. I would go here again if I didnt smoke. But considering I visit a'dam to smoke my brains out, Im going to try the 'smoke'hostels next time around.
