This hostel is incredible! I came just at the end of the peak season, so during the week it was laid back and relaxing. The staff were awesome and made me feel at home! On the weekend there was a party that had staff, other travellers and locals complete with costumes and face painting! By far my favorite hostel that I've been to.

this place rocks, 50m from a yelllow sand beach, beach volley ball, footy, somking and drinking on the beach at sunset, sweet as!! good bar, grabbed a mountain bike and went for a ride through the sand hills. nice. fields of flowers spring. amazing. clean rooms with a little safe for your personal stuff. good showers with loads of hot water. sweet. azza

We stayed at this hostel for 3 nigths and had an awesome time! The place is a nice clean, relaxed atmosphere! The staff is fantastic, the breakfast was great and the internet is free! I can't wait to go back!!!!

I spent 2 weeks here in June, 2004. Dorm: 16 in large, 19.75 in small* queensize bed is a deal @ 22.75 for two people sharing *A nice place to stay outside of Amsterdam. * Very friendly staff* If you book ahead you can take the shuttle from Flying Pig in the city. * The beach is one block away.* They do your laundry for 5.* Small bar and Lounge...great for meeting the others.* Breakfast: A) toast and cheese and cake and ham or egg B) cereal * Kitchen to cook in * Awesome sunsets at the beach

We stayed at the Flying pig beach hostel, and i can recommend it to everyone.The place is totally relaxed and the staff is very friendly and laidback.The bar rocks, cheap beer and the best to meet your fellow traveller.It is close enough from Amsterdam to go there and do your cultural sh.t.Definitely the cleanest, friendliest place in Europe.Well be back!!!!!!!

this hostel had the most relaxed and chilled out atmospehere ever! - the perfect antidote after Amsterdam.Great location by the beach, great staff, great beer. You won't find a better place to meet fellow travellers.This is one hostel I will definitely stay in again.

Hey hey! I was only supposed to be here for a few days but i ended up staying here for a month. The place is very clean so close to the beach!! The lounge has gr8 music to listen to (plenty of variety) excellant place to chill out. Staff instantly make you part of the piggie family, its home away from home...

i stayed here back in march - it was low season and the weather wasn't great, but the hostel was totally cool. easily the cleanest hostel i've stayed at, reasonably cheap and with a cool bar lounge area with really cheap beer.... i stayed there after seeing a flyer in the pig in amsterdam, and it really provided a lil break after serious amsterdammage!!also, try the kitesurf experience.......you won't regret it!
