BUG Review
This former linen factory, a short walk north of the city centre, is a cheap place to stay with a kitchen and dining area plus a basement lounge with a TV, pool table, table tennis, table football and old decaying sofas. It's good value and has quite a good atmosphere but it feels tired and could be in much better condition.
Price Dorm bed £6.50-10 Single room £15 Double/twin room £24 Prices are in local currency and are inclusive of all taxes.
Reception Open 8am-midnight

We booked accomadation with them over 2 months ago for the weekend in Belfast. I paid a deposit and even rang a few days before hand to let them know we were arriving late and they said they would keep the beds. We arrived at 10.30 at night and they told us they had no rooms left for the whole weekend. No real apology, he got us a b and b in west belfast fro the friday and said that the bed is gone fro the sat night too. This is outrageous so I would not advise to stay there or at least don't expect a booking to hold your bed!

this wasn't the worst hostel i've ever been to, but it wasn't the best either. it seemed to be kind of a wank to get to, and the area it was in seemed a bit skeevy as well. the rooms were cold and dirty, but to be fair, it was the low season, so maybe it is better in the summer. belfast is a really worthwhile city to visit, and the pubs are loads of fun, but if you're staying for more than a few nights, you might want to look into some place else. on the bright side, i did not get a rash or bedbugs, and the staff seemed friendly enough.

I stayed in this hostel because it was cheap and convenient, but it was a horrible experience, I was sexually harassed by the owner and his staff and friends. He would not put the heating on and it was winter, nor change the sheets. He harassed me even more when I complained about his behaviour and others behaviour

I stayed at the hostel just one night, met some cool people. After returning back to Dublin, I notice a rash on my thy and after 7 days it was still there. (Please notice that during my whole stay in Dublin and IRL, that was the only hostel I stayed at). So returning home, I went to see a doctor about it (it was ichy) and in total paid 121 GBP to find out that I got ""microsporosys"" (cat disease) - which i got in the hostel. That was the only place I could've got it since the other place I stayed at was my boyfriend's and he doesn't have any cats around. So while at Linnen house, get your own bedsheets!!!!!!! (Manager claimed no responsability or offered to repay anything, just *thanked* for notice)""

It's a bit institutional, but it does the trick. The bedrooms here are big and communal, and the non-allocation of beds mean that when you stumble in (tired, and possibly drunk) late at night, you may well have to disturb plenty of sleepers before you rest your head. Watch out for bedbugs, as well! The location is nice, just near Ulster University north of the city. They may push the cab tours of Belfast on to you, but don't be scared off by the possibility of doing the Murals on your own. I did, and found it so much more rewarding talking to some of the people I met along the way rather than paying for the privelige of being carted around as yet another tourist. Take a chance - you'll love it!""
