Well, as i arrived there (08-2002), i think i was the only traveller. A lot of polish families. I had a big 3-bed room for my own (with radio and a fridge), so that was a good thing. The securityguard was a little strict, drinking a beer wasn't allowed, he even checked my shopping bags. The curfew is a bad thing too. But it is very central and you can walk to the old centre. That's a big plus. Speaking english was a bit of a problem there...

I came on foot from central station and it was maybe fifteen minutes. The reception is on the top floor which is a hike. It's clean, there's a seperate smoking area. Many schoolkids but I think they keep them seperate from the travellers. Good coffee machine. Cheap. Not bad.

it was superclean, fairly comfortable, and really well-located. plus 25 cent coffee machine. but it was rather institutional: grimacing staff, ominous security guard, no co-ed rooms, curfew. and while we were there a rather large and noisy group of children stayed. but pretty nice stay overall.

this is a very centrally located hostel very clean and not that far from the train station although difficult to find on foot. A nice walk away from the old town which is pretty much all there is to see in warsaw also close to the tomb of the unknown soldier which is interesting to see. Staff not bad its well worth the money to get a double room if travelling with partner as the dorms are seperated into male and female still a cheap hostel.

This is a very clean place and is centrally located. Personnel are helpful. Kitchen available. On bus lines. 10 minute walk to Centrum and 10 minute walk to Old Town. Near several museums and walking distance to Lazienki Park where there is a magnificent (but not huge) Palace on the Water. On bus line to Wilanow Park where there is also a great palace.

Stayed here summer 2002. Could not believe the 11:00pm curfew, this was a real pain as you can't really go out and have a beer at night or anything! When you get back for the curfew there is no common room or any where to meet other people. There are some seats but after curfew there is a sort of security guard going about tell every one to be quiet.

If the night curfew isn't bad enough there's a day lock out from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, this was a real pain for me as I left my guide book in the hostel, I went back to get and they wouldn't let me back in.

On the plus side it's the most central hostel in Warsaw close to the train station and about a ten minute walk to the old town. The place is also really clean with really good kitchen which you can use.

I found the staff a little stone faced but they were quite helpful when I asked them any thing.

If you are going to Warsaw and don't mind a 11:00pm curfew check this place out.
