It was the only hostel that still had a bed when i arrived in warsaw... first of all, it was very difficult to find (its hidden behind a furniture store and doesnt really have any sign that you can see from the street). Getting there from downtown is ok but its a bit far (no way you can walk it with a full backpack!)

It wasnt really dirty, it just looked old. Showers and toilets werent that clean but i've seen worse.

I was happy there was a curfew because i was really tired and needed a quiet night... but for some reason, the place got louder *after* the curfew. I dont know if i was there at the same time as the other writer, but there was also a bunch of really annoying french kids.

So, its a decent place, but i wasnt really impressed.

the receptionists are at least helpful, they're all helpful but maybe a bit sour except one who just smiles and says 'OK', not sure if she understood me though...!

It's a long way out sure, but not really difficult to find and the tram connections are excellent, shame you can't spend a decent night out in Warsaw as you have to be back for 11.

And when I stayed the schoolkids were French and VERY obnoxious (at least they got locked out for a while when they missed curfew by 10mins hehehehe!)

It wasnt that crowded when I got there, but these polish kids in the other rooms made far too much noise, burping and farting all night. Crappy toilets. You cannot get in after 12pm because of the curfew, but we said to the lady in the recepcionists that we wanted to change of hostel and she offered to open the door at 2am.

The receptionists work in shifts, and one of them is the friendliest receptionist in Europe perhaps.

Its the best hostel in Warsaw, though. The other decent one locks its door at 10pm.

Where do I start?

Bad neighborhood, hard to find, most signs only in polish, crowded rooms, no breakfast, full with annoying schoolkids, crappy bathrooms and they are in another floor, no common room, no atmosphere, lockout, curfew...

Stay away.
