This is a fantastic place to stay! Great location, close to everything, wonderful arty and cozy I have very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Security is excellent and it´s within walking distance to all of the womderful sights of Warsaw. This is the best Hostel not only in Poland but in Europe I suppose. Everything is fresh and glossy, just to make your stay comfortable eg: large lockers., clean toilets with real showers (I would dream about at to have them at home), comfortable sofas and the bar, cheap beer and stuff, small as good as the people who come there, usually very entertaining. You see that they try to help you but they have fun themselves.

The staff were is excellent, handsome and helpful they send you to good places and always ask what do you like! providing useful information, perfect clues and directions, always know what is on each day. They let me leave my luggage for 20 hours after I checked out so I could go sightsee a while before my plane leavest. I would definitely recommend this spot and would stay again. The place is Very chilled out and relaxed. You get breakfast, They have a free internet (WiFi as well) and a bar and stuff so those were definite pluses.

I Can not imagine how could one dislike the place, everything is wrong for Australian Anonymous, It is not fair, may be he/she is going rate it low for a purpose different then fair. The bar has good ventilation when I was there by the way.

I totally disagree with previous positive reviews.

This place does NOT deserve an above average rating for the unorganised management, overpriced and average quality breakfast (you can do SO much better in Warsaw for that price), smoky unventilated bar which tends to draw an arrogant crowd, and as someone else already mentioned NO ONE seems to want to checkout the nightlife anywhere as there is already a bar in hostel which for me is BORING !

Their recommendation for places to eat and go out is obviously dependend on who their friends are because the places they recommended are overpriced and overrated - just like their hostel.

Someone else needs to open a real hostel in Warsaw and get this lot out of business.

We stayed in February 05 with our 3 year old child. It was a good hostel and clean. The showers were fine and the kitchen was OK if a bit small but then not many people were using it. The owners were really nice and were really helpful.

We had a good room but found the leg of a bed was broken and to be fair a handy man was called in straight away and it was fixed while we were out exploring the city.

It snowed a fair bit while we were there but we were always warm inside the hostel. There was free internet access which is always a nice bonus.

Should we return to Warsaw we'd try and book there first and would recommend it to anyone.

Having read all the good reviews I was expecting something decent. To my great disappointment I had various problems such as having to shift room EACH DAY and having indifferent attitude from staff members.

The bar attached is good in theory but most backpackers become lazy and simply stay there all night - boring !

If you want peace and quiet forget it. Breakfast is average and very overpriced. The management seem to have problems with booking too, many confusions. When asking for the deposit for the key back staff members were not responsive and claimed that it was never paid. You judge for yourself - I seem to be the only negetive reviewer here but I think the fact that they have a great reputation has made them completely ignorant. Soon someone will establish a better hostel in Warsaw.

We spent the weekend at the Oki Doki hostel and what an amazing place it was.

The whole place had such a cool atmosphere and there was such a diferent mix of people and travellers.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful so if you had any questions that wasn't a problem. We hired 2 bikes for the day at a very cheap price so that was a bonus as we got to see loads of Warsaw this way.

Definately one of the best hostel we've stayed in on our trip so far!!

By far the coolest (and cleanest) hostel on planet Earth. The owners are trully wonderful people.

If you are looking for a good party all you have to do is take a 3 minute walk to the street where all the good bars and clubs are. They have own cool bar (happy hour kills you) open till morning. fun, safe, clean and enough showers. The hostel is located in the very center, in the very safe part of the city(stay away from the Warsaw Central train station and the Praga area). It is very convenient. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the central trains station near The Old Town ( take a walk and do not get in into any unmarked taxis).

Every room looks like contemporary art galery, but with the antique furniture datindg 100 years back. They have security guard downstairs, laundry and internet

....I wish we could have stay longer.

Oki Doki is a newish hostel with good size rooms and good facilities. The place has a bit of design edge to it and is well know by locals in Warsaw for the unique style of the place. I personally had a great time in Warsaw and I think that if you give the city a chance you'll discover it has a lot to offer. The Polish people (including the hostel owners) are possibly the friendliest and genuinely open that I've met in Europe. We had a mix-up on the first night with our booking, but the owners went out of their way to correct it and even threw in a free breakfast - so you can't ask for much more. (Insiders tip - try and get a room on the second floor).
