Apparently trying to get from Lagos to Seville (Sevilla, Spain) on the weekends during the low season (November) is impossible. We tried, and unfortunately got stuck in Faro. There is a bus that runs from Faro to Seville every day, but the office that sells the tickets is closed on the weekends. So even though the ALSA bus arrived promptly at 1630 on Sunday evening, we were not allowed on, because we didn't have a ticket, because the ALSA office isn't open. So we were stuck in Faro, a tourist trap with very unfriendly people, except for the staff at the hostel, luckily. We got a double room for 11 Euros. The showers were a bit cramped, but warm. We didn't get our free breakfast, which is included, because we had to leave before it was served. Like Faro it seems, there is not much character to this hostel. But it served its purpose for one night.
