The hostel is close enough to everything but it'll take you a good 20 minutes to get to the heart of the city on foot. The staff are really nice and very helpful. If you need a taxi, I'd suggest you find a cheaper one that the option they offer you (the rate of this company is 1.94 Lei). They didn't tell me he charges an extra 15 Lei "for travelling outside the city" when he dropped me to the airport!! It's quite warm and friendly, so if you're looking for a great atmosphere, this hostel has it!

Cheapest place in Bucharest. Good value, convenient location. No frills but entirely adequate. Much better value than elvis.

We liked it there very much. Nice and helpful staff who had an answer for all of our questions. It's located right in the city center and everything you need (Food,ATM, Internet) is just a minute away. We also met a lot of friendly people there apparently fleeing the Elvis Hostel. It is a little noisy around there though but i doubt that you can escape that particular problem in any hostel in Bucharest. Especially considering the Bucharesti love for car alarms.
