Lonely Planet correctly describes this as one of the best hostels in the country.
The location is convenient for the train station and for the cheap and frequent minibuses into the centre of town. Monika is an extremely helpful English (and Swedish) speaking host and also offers home-cooking and guided tours to the local monasteries. Being conventional domestic accommodation - like so many hostels- it could benefit from an extra bathroom.Really, its hard to fault this hostel, and if you are wondering about making the trip up to this slightly remote but seriously beautiful corner of Romania - this hostel is the place to go! But be warned - its hard to get away from!
