This hostel is a pretty typical SYHA. Clean, big rooms, great kitchen - really good if you want to relax. It closes at midnight - so it's probably not the place to go if you want to drink at the pub until closing. But its perfect for a good nights sleep if you are planning on tackling some of the great nearby walks in the Cairngorms. It also has a pool table, drying room, children are really welcome, and it's a very short walk to the main street. In summer it costs 11.50 for a dorm bed.
