BUG review
This alpine-style wooden hut is clean and tidy offering simple no frills facilities and dorm accommodation. It is located next door to the tennis courts bequeathed by the Duchess of Argyll and guests can enjoy a set or two before strolling down to the village to enjoy some freshly caught oysters and a wee nip. A wide range of travellers stay here so you’re bound to meet someone interesting.

As a group of Highland Dancers from Australia, we found this hostel a welcome change to camping in tents. We were set in a georgeous little Scottish village with great tourist shops. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms adequate. The reception was limited and make sure if pre booking that you explain exactly the room arrangements you need.If you have a name that is cross/gender like Lee? you may get put in a room with the opposite sex!!!The kitchen was really great, let's hope you meet up with some handsome trout fishermen like we did. Close to an awesome castle, breathtaking lake and picture purfect stone bridge.Only 40 min drive to Dunoon and the World Highland Dancing Championships in late August. Definately recommend this location to everyone.
