I booked a 4 bed place for 4 people in Edinburgh. I called the manager 2 twice prior to my arrival to check whether we were getting the right room (the last call was on Friday night - around 10 hours before our arrival) as we did not want to share it with other people. When we arrived it turned out we were suposed to share our room with 2 other people and when I saw them and amount of alcohol they purchased I felt that our health and safety was at risk and decided not to stay there. The amount for the place was debited from my account obviously. I called the manager & he says this is not his fault, could not explain what change happened overnight and said it was not an expensive hotel, I knew what sort of place that was so I should have expected wonders.

P.S. I went to a nearby B&B and the person who runs the place used to work for this manager and claims this is a usual practice in that place and people are often placed in corridors as well.
