BUG review
This is a clean hostel with limited, but well maintained, facilities that include a TV lounge with Internet access and a tiny, but fully equipped, kitchen. The dorms are cramped but they have new beds.

This hostel was one of the cleaniest I have stayed in yet.Recently refurbished, it provided everything i needed during my stay.Breakfast was ample and was included in the price. The beds were comfortable and showers were available 24 hours a day.I found the staff both friendly and informative

I would not recommend wasting your time at this hostel. The staff were incredibly rude and dishonest. I called to cancel my first day of stay and when I arrived I was told I never called and was forced to pay for my three night stay (when I only stayed two). We also booked this hostel because it apparently had safe luggage storage, but upon arrival we discovered there was none. If I had not booked with visa I would have left!!

Hostel manager's right of reply

As the newly appointed manager of the west end hostel since October 2003, I was disgusted when I read the review.I can assure you under my management neither myself or my staff would treat a customer in this manner. Reception is manned from 8am to 11pm so any telephones calls and enquiries are answered and dealt with accordingly. As for safe luggage storage, at present we do not have lockers. However we do have safe deposit facilities and each guest receives both a key to the front door and to their room.
